1. First Time Eating KFC#
Today, while playing with my baby, I ordered two servings of KFC's New Orleans grilled wings. Watching my child eat happily, I couldn't help but reminisce about my own journey.
Before graduating from college, I had only eaten KFC once. It was during high school when my cousin married a woman from the county town. Her family was in real estate, which seemed mismatched with my brother. It was she who took us to KFC. My brother ordered a family bucket, and it felt like a celebration. Although my brother and his ex-wife have since separated, I am still grateful to her for introducing me to KFC and showing me that such delicious food exists in the world.
My younger brother was there too, and he remarked, "It's not that good." My brother replied, "You should have said something earlier; we didn't get enough to eat." In the 2010s, KFC was a rare treat for us. At that time, my brother and his wife were in the throes of love, and she doted on us siblings, knowing we came from the countryside.
After entering college, I still couldn't afford KFC, but there was a cheaper alternative called Wallace. Once, I ordered 50 yuan worth of Wallace at my ex-boyfriend's house, and he said, "You really know how to spend money; just don't let my dad see." At that time, 50 yuan was a significant amount for us. We secretly finished the Wallace burgers in the house, which were incredibly delicious, and I felt so happy while burping. But this made it clear that my ex-boyfriend and I were not on the same path—he thought such money shouldn't be spent on these things, while my taste buds knew better what kind of life I wanted.
Eating KFC Again#
Later, I started working at a clothing store where the manager was from Anhui, and they loved eating noodles. But I always felt unsatisfied after eating noodles, even feeling a bit nauseous. Once, while eating snow vegetable and shredded pork noodles, I found a fly in my dish. When I reported it to the plump aunt, she said, "It's fine; flies have protein." I unhappily paid for my meal. 😭
When I didn't bring lunch, I would order a work meal. At that time, KFC's work meal cost about 18 or 20 yuan and always came with a Coke. I couldn't bear to order my favorite New Orleans grilled wings separately, so if they were included in a combo, I would treat myself to a meal. At that time, my monthly salary was 3,500 yuan, and after six months of work, I saved enough to buy a washing machine and a color TV for my family, earning the recognition of the village elders, who thought I was doing well outside.
But I was struggling, hating to take the bus because it made me carsick. I worked early and late shifts, and when I had the late shift, I would take the bus in the afternoon, always feeling depressed.
2. Entering the Crypto World and Saying Goodbye to KFC#
At the end of 2015, I met my first boss through a Didi ride in his BMW. At that time, Didi had just entered the Nanjing market, and a ride only cost a little over 2 yuan, while the bus also cost 2 yuan, and transferring buses would cost 4 yuan, so of course, I chose Didi.
Later, this boss thought I was very willing to share—after taking an Amway course, I took his car home, and he believed that my acceptance of such courses indicated my openness to things, including the crypto world or financial schemes. At that time, the boss was using the crypto world for financial schemes, and I had just graduated and didn't understand these things; during meetings, I would attentively serve his clients.
Once, for a business exchange, the boss introduced #Bitcoin and #Ethereum for the first time, and my eyes lit up. Ethereum dropped from over 20 yuan to 3 yuan, and market users were in despair, but then it surged to over 800 yuan (I can't remember the exact details; there might be discrepancies). After my first encounter with the exchange Yunbi, I went home and searched on Baidu about how to deposit and withdraw funds.
Unfortunately, in the second half of 2016 to 2017, I missed a life-changing opportunity worth 20 million. At that time, Yunbi had many coins that increased by hundreds or thousands of times, like SC, and I was almost among the top 100 holders on the entire network, but I exited midway during the trading.
The crypto world ignited my greed, and from then on, I looked down on working for a living. I took a semi-pyramid scheme course that cost about 80,000 yuan. Where would someone earning 3,500 yuan a month get that kind of money? I relied on borrowing, credit cards, and online loans. In the following years, I fell into a hell of debt. I borrowed 30,000 yuan, and within a year, I had to repay over 50,000 yuan to a lending company, which I still vividly remember.
Later, the company that had deceived me into believing that completing the course would yield life results went bankrupt. But like me, many were drained: companies went bankrupt, marriages ended in divorce, and young people like me were burdened with debt. In that course, I also met a scumbag who tricked me into buying fake foreign exchange in 2017, causing me and my friends to lose over 100,000 yuan.
At this point, I was no longer qualified to eat KFC. After finishing my college internship, I returned to my alma mater for the graduation ceremony. Passing by KFC, I swallowed hard and told my elders in a small group, "I really want to eat KFC and indulge a little." A big sister offered me 50 yuan to enjoy myself, but I didn't accept it.
3. Days Without the Qualification to Eat KFC#
Borrowing 80,000 to Go All In on #EOS#
In my debt-ridden and desperate state, the crypto world welcomed a bull market in 2017. After the 94 incident, many coins surged hundreds or thousands of times. My EOS on the exchange increased tenfold, yielding profits of several tens of thousands, which opened my eyes.
Borrowing Money Reveals People's True Colors#
At that time, everyone praised my potential and dedication, but when I went to borrow money, a once-gentle big sister suddenly turned into a tiger. She said, "I'm at KTV and can't hear you; I don't have money to lend, go find someone else." She had previously expressed sympathy for me, wishing she could just give me 5,000 yuan. This change in attitude chilled my heart; sigh, let's not talk about it.
Deciding to Borrow 80,000 Online#
I found a young man online who actively helped me with loans; he could get me a lower interest rate. Fortunately, there was a big brother who was a representative and ambassador in the Chinese ICP region, whom I referred to as my senior. After he met me in Nanjing, he directly transferred 50,000 yuan to me, telling me not to borrow money. He was from Shandong, and I still remember his kindness. But later, I was still poor, and the Ethereum private placement I participated in with him never issued tokens. After a few years of bear market, my senior also ran out of money and asked me for repayment. At that time, I had just become pregnant, deeply in debt, and had no money to repay him, which made me feel really guilty.
Until ICP issued tokens, deducting the private placement portion offset my 50,000 yuan debt. But my big brother was deeply hurt by me, and we no longer kept in touch. So my first pot of gold came from ICP, but the debt was still not cleared.
During this time, in 2018, I attended the EOS conference hosted by Captain Wang at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, where the famous three-wave theory meeting of the crypto world was born. I decided to go all in on EOS. My ex-boyfriend, under my persuasion, borrowed 300,000 yuan to invest in the crypto world, and thus a pair of ill-fated lovers emerged in the crypto world. When we lost money, cracks appeared in our relationship, and ultimately we broke up.
4. Once Again Qualified to Eat KFC#
When I was over 300,000 yuan in debt, I went to Shanghai to seek fortune. I carried a year's worth of foot-soaking water.
That year was when I learned the most. Every day, I took the subway to listen to Teacher Ni Haixia's traditional Chinese medicine courses, with a daily commute of over four hours: first walking for over ten minutes to take the light rail to Line 9, then transferring to Line 3 and Line 1, and walking for another ten minutes to the company. It was tough, and on the way, I watched Teacher Ni Haixia's courses like "Human Chronicle" and "Heaven Chronicle," listening until my ears broke out in pimples.
For lunch, I ate convenience meals from Family Mart or mooched off my colleagues. Once, the manager deliberately ate something good next to me, and I swallowed hard. While at the store, the company was thriving, and the boss rewarded us with exquisite takeout. The boss was from Shanghai and was very particular. When an extra cake was available, the boss asked what to do. He and another founder exchanged knowing glances and said, "Give it to so-and-so; she will definitely want it." Guess what? I took it, but not because I wanted to eat it; I accepted it out of a sense of not wanting to waste food while diligently practicing Buddhism. 😊 But it was also a bit bittersweet.
No Wedding Due to Debt#
Later, I secretly got married, afraid to tell my boss for fear of being fired. At that time, my monthly salary was around 6,000 yuan, with five insurances and one fund, which I considered a good job. I had to use this money to juggle debts, and I didn't even take the five days of wedding leave. With over 300,000 yuan in debt, naturally, I didn't have a wedding. Writing this brings tears to my eyes; it was such a hard time, so poor that I couldn't even afford a wedding.
Half a year after marriage, I became pregnant. During my pregnancy, I felt nauseous while looking at patients' tongues, not realizing I was pregnant. When I carried the foot-soaking water for clients, my hands trembled, and the manager thought I was being dramatic. At a critical moment, a colleague who was pregnant went home, and I felt dizzy every day on the subway, almost fainting. I had no choice but to honestly tell my boss I was pregnant, and he felt deceived.
When I returned to Nanjing, I was pushed out in a wheelchair by the attendants due to severe morning sickness. When I learned I was pregnant, I cried: over 300,000 yuan in debt, how could I raise a child? But it was also this child that brought me good luck in the crypto world. My moment of turnaround had arrived.
5. The Rabbit's Turnaround Opportunity Has Come#
Unable to work during my pregnancy, I returned to the crypto world. By this time, the crypto world had undergone a change: Yunbi had disappeared, while Binance, Huobi, and OKEx were thriving. Poor EOS, which could only "滴滴" (drip), so anyone who dollar-cost-averaged into EOS was a big fool. However, all my bad luck in this life was spent holding EOS, and from then on, my life was filled with good fortune.
Binance's Bull Market#
From the explosion of Ethereum's DeFi to the boom of Tron, then to Huobi Chain, and finally to Binance Chain. I missed the previous rounds, but by the time I got to Binance Chain, I had experience. In this round, I completely paid off my debts and accumulated assets above A7. Because of my past debts, I became cautious, and with capital, I no longer dared to play recklessly.
From then on, I had the qualification to eat KFC whenever I wanted. But by the time I turned 30, my figure was not what it used to be, and I started dieting, so I could only watch my baby eat and swallow hard. 😂😂😂

🔥 Solving the Issue of Accessing OKX Exchange in China#
Many exchanges' original domain names may be blacklisted, or access speed may be affected due to servers being located overseas. For ordinary users, this situation often leaves them feeling helpless, even doubting whether the issue lies with the exchange itself. In reality, this is more about the network environment rather than a service interruption on the platform itself. To address this situation, exchanges like OKX and Binance typically update their backup domain names regularly to ensure users can continue accessing the official website through alternative addresses.
